We specialize in general medical care for all ages and stages of life.
At Generations Pediatrics & Internal Medicine, we strive to provide convenient medical care for an array of health concerns, ailments and injuries. We understand that individuals may be faced with different health issues throughout the course of their life. Our general health care services include the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases, sports injuries and acute illnesses, as well as preventive care. Our goal is to provide care that you can depend on for the benefit of you and your family’s health.
We realize that your time is valuable. We can dispense for you a variety of generic medications quickly at your visit and for under $20. We want to help ease the burden of illness. When you or your child are sick and it is not a good option to wait at the pharmacy we have you covered. We stock common antibiotics, blood pressure medications, cough and cold medications, and some medical devices etc for your convenience. We do not file insurance for these medications.
You may utilize our patient portal to send a protected message or question directly to the doctor or nurse. These messages are stored in your patient chart and are a convenient way to communicate non-emergent concerns or questions.
We understand that immunizations can be a scary experience for our patients. Our team believes that medical evidence supports routine immunizations against preventable illnesses. Due to the increased risk to all patients and staff, we will not accept new patients that do not plan to vaccinate. Our providers are happy to discuss your questions and concern personally.
Expectant mothers who plan to deliver at Saint Francis Hospital need only to notify their nurse prior to delivery. The hospital will notify our office so that we know to come and meet your newest little one at the hospital. If you deliver at another hospital, your infant will be seen by a provider that is on staff at that hospital. Make sure that you request a summary of your baby’s hospitalization to bring to your first follow-up appointment at our office.
Patients requiring hospitalization will be cared for in the hospital by a hospital-based physician. Patients should notify hospital physicians of their primary care provider’s contact information so that pertinent information from hospitalizations can be forwarded to our office and allow for the best possible care.
Calls made after-hours to medical providers should be limited to urgent medical needs. Medication refills can be requested during office hours and you should allow at least 24 hours for routine requests. After-hours clinics are available in our area. For medical emergencies, call 911.
We are always accepting new patients at Generations Pediatrics & Internal Medicine. If you are new to our office, we will review your medical history and provide a personalized treatment plan for you. Please be sure to have your medical records sent to our office prior to your appointment. Our goal is to establish an ongoing relationship with our patients to foster a life of health, vitality and longevity.
